Combining translation and PR experience
In addition to translating and interpreting, I have a degree in advertising and public relations. Indeed, I was a press secretary for five years before working in several departments (sales, logistics and quality) in small and medium-sized exporters. Thus, I have solid industry experience and understand the communication, commercial and international PR needs of today's companies. Out of my industry background and translation qualifications and experience, Tradcom was born.
Throughout my career, I have translated and drafted internal and external legal, technical and journalistic-type documents. I have also provided services as a liaison interpreter in meetings and as part of international PR initiatives for companies and at events.
In 2011, I was officially appointed as a sworn translator and interpreter from English to Catalan and vice versa, and a sworn translator from Spanish to Catalan and vice versa by the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia).
I am a member of APTIC (Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters of Catalonia).
